Re: Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity

I've forked the official rubberband repo and brought in FalkTX's LV2 stuff. I also modified the buffer size to get rid of the click/pop issue, and I added an LV2 make target.

Re: Beatzille download - all OSes + docs

I suspect there may be a licensing issue here. The license.txt file in the "Linux" and Mac folders is not the same as the one in the Windows folder. They have different conditions relating to what they allow you to distribute. The Windows license specifies that you can only distribute the ...

Re: Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity

I think I might have solved it Thanks, but I am not interested in a plugin version. A standalone variant in form of pitch tool of Mixbus/Ardour is sometimes helpful, but I can use Reaper's time stretching as a fallback, and I need that extremely rarely, as I rarely do video editing. Do you mean the...

Re: Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity

This is a bug in Rubberband library itself, it behaves the same in Ardour and Mixbus even if used as standalone. Just tested it, confirmed. File a bug report. I think I might have solved it. I downloaded the source from github, tweaked the buffer values and recompiled the LADSPA plugin and it seems...

Re: Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity

I just tried the command-line version and it seems to work fine. So seems to be an issue just in the plugin perhaps.

Problems Rubberband Pitch Shift in Audacity

Whenever I try to pitch shift something in Audacity using the Rubberband .lv2 plugin I get a horrible click/pop added to the start of the selected audio.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

The plugin I'm using is available here - https://kx.studio/Repositories:Plugins

Re: Commercial orchestral libraries in linux?

If you don't mind using non-free software then why not use Kontakt? Does it work reliably in Linux? Kontakt player would be ok, but anything requiring full version of Kontakt is out question, just because Kontakt costs more that I am ready to pay :-) I don't know about Kontakt player. I use full Ko...

Do you plan to make strings libraries?

Yes. I've started work on the solo strings already, I've sampled a concert harp and a violin. Once I've done the solo strings I'll start on sections.
